This girl wants me to take photos of her...

I know this girl who lives near me that wants me to do a nude photo shoot of her so i can make a nude gallery of her for the web. I know shes 19 so im going to xerox her Drivers Liscence but what else do i need to be aware of? Now, here is my questions...
do i need any special legal forms?
i told her i would give her 100 bucks for an hour, is that too little?
Any other legal precautions i should take?
If there are any forms I need her to fill out or anything does anyone know where i can find one?

If you do xerox a legal ID, by law you have to make it 75%(or below) or 125%(or higher) of the original size.

I'm not sure if that applies to where you are, the law is for the USA.

Isn't it ideal to have a situation where it's not 1 on 1 with the photographer and subject?

(maybe I've seen too many shannon tweed movies and it's making me paranoid)

One more little note on the release form.

Do not sit and explain the details of it to her, if she has a question about something, say to her that she must read and understand it on her own. (or you could say have your laywer look at it)

You do not want her coming back saying that you told her something different than how it is actually implied on the paper.

Did that make any fucking sense?

First the accidental webcam without her knowledge could get some serious trouble going. Especially if someone copies the cam and posts all over the web.
Second, make sure you get the rights to at least co-own the copyright or those pics are useless to you. And make sure that its legally binding to the point of forever use without her coming back for a share of any thing you make from them.
Like technically my old man owns the copyright to all of my shoots...BUT without it in writing a good lawyer could reverse that. Just being the photographer doesn't apply anymore in all states according to our attorneys. Even in the states etc that it does, that copyright ownership could be challenged for at least a percentage of any profits that photos/vids might produce.

Best peice of advice I was ever given was to make sure you RECORD EVERYTHING on video, doesn't matter if you ever paln to use the video, its a record of the event that someone says something afterwords you have proff of what was and wasn't said/done.

The videocam is a great idea, we always leave one running even if it is on the tripod.

Another thing we do is, take some pictures of the signing of the paper, the model holding the ID by her face, some relaxing test shots, and on the right occasion some shots of relaxing after the shoot having a beer at the bar or whatever.

A raw copy of all images goes straight to a CD, and this CD goes to the Safe Deposit Box along with a copy of the videotape and the paperwork.

If I were you I would just use a digicam so you can later cut the recording in frames so you have pictures and video at the same time...

and BTW I live like an hour away from you..been to berkley raving bunch of times..skillz work shop to buy some records too :-P

Fucker, in an attempt to get on everyone's good side I created a release form. I do a bit of photgraphy in my spare time, mostly artistic black and white, non-nude type stuff.

The form is completely legal it's taken from The Photographer's Market Guide to Photo Submission and Portfolio Formats by Michael Willins
