As globalisation increases, poverty and welfare needs grow and debt increases. That's a proven fact. And it's a problem the world has to confront. China and India aren't rising to the top because it has billions of people. It's rising because because of the low wages factory workers receive.

Even today Americans will identify themselves as "Polish Americans, "Italian Americans, Black, Asian, Native Americans, etc. We hang onto our cultures, But Europeans are more likely to marry, mix, socialise, live amongst each other. Then there are the people who put their culture aside and adopt the culture of the mainstream. Obama is the best example of this.

The problems arise when large numbers, from poor, uneducated groups, want to preserve their culture and even impose it on the mainstream.
