    In Montreal? Want some Free Servers?

    I have a bunch of old Dell Servers that I am not using anymore. They have been sitting in my garage for a couple of years now and I don't have the heart to throw them out or recycle them as they all work well.



    They are:

    1. Dell Poweredge 1950
    2. Dell Poweredge 1950
    3. Dell Poweredge R300
    4. Dell Poweredge 750
    5. Dell Poweredge 750
    6. Dell Poweredge 750
    7. Dell Poweredge 1950
    8. Dell Poweredge 1950
    9. Dell Poweredge 750
    10. Dell Poweredge 750
    11. Dell Poweredge R200
    12. Dell Poweredge 750
    13. Dell Poweredge 750

    They were used in a data center so they ran fairly cool and are pretty clean inside.

      Hard to get rid when you paid top $$$ for them ...

      I also have a few IBM servers , a pro transcoder as well as 2 Sony Betacams ( one NTSC , one PAL ) ... As I return , I will dump that as I need the space ....

      good luck with the give away .... Maybe EncanDepot ( https://encandepot.com/ ) could pick them up and give you a few $$$ .
      I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

      But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

                          Nah I don't want to bother. I would have to box them up and ship them and they would get damaged in transit for sure. Not worth it.

                          No its not the money... they were our initial production servers and then when I retired them they were test and dev servers so I definately got my moneys worth. It just sucks to throw them into the recycle bin since they still work.

                          Thanks this is cool - never heard of this place before. I will check to see if they are interested. I don't suppose you happen to know of a good retro hi-fi place like this in Montreal too? I'm looking to buy a reel to reel tape recorder. Why? I don't know, I just want one.

                              Maybe ... There is a collegue of mine that had a professional; sound studio . He closed it a few years ago and I think he had a reel-to-reel tape ( pro ) .

                              Karisma has a lot of items for sale ( another sound studio ) . They are on Iberville .
