That there are job openings doesn´t mean the best way to solve that is to open the borders. Nor that that is needed. That is a mistake they made starting 40 years ago and divided the country and now Europe.

It is simple, many people work part-time and are not willing to work more for little extra. The salaries hasn't be rising since the crisis started more than 10 years ago… pensions only going down. If you work in the health in Holland the last 20 years yo see the government has been pushing people to work harder with even lists how many minutes could be spent per patient. The government spent less and less money to people working in the health industry while asking more and more. And now that more people are needed, they suddenly found out that nobody wants to do that jobs anymore cause the 'fun' is taken out. So now they must look for slaves who are able to do the work for less money. So that there is a shortage in the health industry is cause of the government policies the last +20 years. I was taking to nurses, they have to renew their papers every 2 - 5 years else they are outdated. So to keep up you need to keep studying while working. But that can't see that back in the (poor) salary they give. I know nurses that got tired of this and found better jobs. Cause one year the government invest in new jobs and education, and than 2 years later they fire people cause there are to many… while they could see more are needed due to the rising group of elderly people.

Or that the government decided 30 years ago to close schools where people where trained to work with their hands like carpenter, metal welding etcetra. If you do that, it isn't strange that 30 years later you must look for people who still can work with their hands. Also a shortage of teachers. No wonder, 20 years ago maximum 20 students per class. Now it is up to 35-40 people. And a lot of students that are not original Dutch and need extra attention.. And those salaries also didn't rise for years....

Now there are new unemployment rules in the EU. That mean if somebody for Poland works in Holland a few months and get fired (mostly cause it is end of season on the fields), they now can take their wellfare check from Holland to Poland. Where offcourse you can live well from Dutch wellfare. I bet if they gave such options to Dutch (work 6 months, get 6 months free and live in Thailand) that everybody would take that job.

The open jobs would be filled if the government start paying more or taxing less. There was even a green liberal party (the unicorns) that said we need 50.000 people outside of Holland. The CBS (statistics institute Holland) would have said that. But the CBS said later that that was a lie. They never give advice like that They say it is a political decissions to get foreigners in, or solve it another way like robots or more salary. Looks like somehow people like to mix all countries and cultures up, and that is what is splitting up countries and Europe.

So if you are looking for bad underpaid jobs, there are vacancies in Holland. Don't look in Amsterdam, the waiting time for a social house is 15+ years. The house prices doubled in 5 years so with your salary you might be able to rent a room and share it when you found a job.

Really Stefan. I just explain some things when somebody posted about those jobs in Holland where people say how much we need them. Cause in many cases people don't know what they are talking about.

Employers love the freedom of movement. Citizens don't agree. At the moment migration is the biggest problem Europe faces. With no borders between countries, no control at the EU borders millions of migrants are flooding into Europe. And the EU is encouraging the or doing nothing about it.

I just explained there arent "264.000 hard to fullfill vacancies". They could be fullfilled easily. But i see now you wanted to point out some other things with that also.
