Just checking in to let you know that the mainstream media talking heads propaganda demonizing anyone challenging the political status quo has the opposite effect. Here in Holland their relentless cheap attacks only added fuel to the fire of the voters.

Since it is politico, some minor factual corrections:
- It is not a "far right" party, so that qualification is factually false.
- The "populist" label is always added to create a negative connotation, while populism is in fact a positive word: "the political doctrine that supports the rights and powers of the common people in their struggle with the privileged elite" https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/populism
If you're against that, and you are not part of that elite, you have a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome.
These were provincial elections, which also decide seats in the national senate. FvD are now the biggest party with the most votes, translated to seats in the senate they now have an equal amount of seats as EU lapdog Ruttes party.
Parliament elections is step 2. Can't wait!
