No, I won't pick up. Somebody else in this thread joked about being afraid of the phone...but I am, kind of. It's part of a bigger constellation of phobias. I can't open mail -- husband does it -- or answer the phone if I don't know who it is, and answering the door when I'm not expecting someone to come over makes me nervous.
