UK: New law for Facebook, twitter, ETC.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8763286.html
Heard it on the news today. The new laws could make directors of social media giants if they don't remove content that doesn't conform to offline laws. Such as CP, bullying, grooming, abuse, terrorism, incitement to riot, etc. After years of relying on the industry to self-regulate nothing has happened. Now companies can find themselves in the dock for not complying to the same laws everyone else has to. |
