There is a great doc on Netflix about these guys that I just watched last night. (Flat Earthers). It's interesting to watch. It's insane that a bunch of people who know nothing about science can convince themselves that they are on the cutting edge of science.

The general accepted theory of flat earthers seems to be that we live in a sort of giant, Truman style dome with the sun/moon just being big lights revolving around it like hands on a mechanical clock and stars projected onto the roof and all ran/controlled etc by aliens.

These sorts of things are why i'm so interested in the brain and belief and the biology behind belief.
