According to CBS Chi-town reporter Charlie De Mar...

The brothers were returning from a trip to Nigeria, their attorney said. The men worked as extras on the show and peeps said they are friends to Smollett and worked out at the same gym.

The only reason why cnn and msnbc are not running with this is because they don’t want it to be a hoax. They want the bad trump / whitey attacking a black to be true. It’s not.
