I like her, but running a black democratic woman will not beat Trump. We need someone who can peel away lots of conservative votes, like a Joe Biden type. Or even better Joe Biden himself.
Elizabeth Warren is a non starter. The dem candidates need to stop talking about taxing the rich more. I'm a liberal and I don't think it's a good thing to penalize rich people for being rich. They already pay enough taxes.
I do definitely think it would be fair for people who make under a certain amount to pay no taxes. When you only make $25,000 a year, that 5k you pay in taxes will make a big difference in your life.
Anyway, dems going too hard on liberal/progressive issues is going to be a recipe for disaster. The best candidate will be a middle of the road liberal who hold some conservative ideas. The democrat voters are going to vote for any candidate they put up against Trump, so why preach to the choir about all of the liberal wet dream issues? Get someone who is borderline Republican and they'll get all of the democrat votes...and more importantly, steal some republican votes.
