The Mueller investigation is tasked with looking into the Trump campaign working with the Russian government and getting help from them. This seems to be centered around the Russian government hacking the DNC and handing over thousands (tens of thousdands?) of hacked emails to Wikileaks. The Mueller investigation looked into the communications that the Russian agents were having with Wikileaks and others, and discovered that Roger Stone was communicating with a Russian agent going by the name of Guccifer 2.0. The Muller investigation also looked into who Wikileaks was talking to, and discovered that they were passing information to a radio host in the US who was friends with both Julian Assange and Roger Stone. When they started investigating him - Randy Credico is his name - Mueller discovered that Julian Assange was passing information bout the hacks to Randy Credico, who was then passing it over to Roger Stone, who was then passing it over to multiple people at the Trump Campaign.
No matter how you spin it, this thread of the investigation started with Mueller looking into Russian agents and who they were communicating with. They started with Giccifer 2.0, leading to Randy Credico, leading to Roger Stone, leading to the Trump campaign.
The best part is it seem Mueller has all of the communications - all of them. I read once that Mueller had all of the communications from Wikileaks. This is what the CIA and NSA does; This is exactly what the Five Eyes program does.
But hey, whatever... There was no collusion right? It's a nothing burger, right? Nothing to hide right.... If there is nothing to hide, why are they lying about everything? |
