That senator is making up a lot of supposition....the FBI started an investigation because they don't agree with the foreign policy stances of a candidate? These Republican senators would be ALL OVER Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama is they were as deferential to Russia as Trump is.

The government of Russia hacked the DNC, handed out tens of thousands of emails on Wikileaks, and fully supported Trump's campaign to the point where the Trump campaign was sharing polling data with Russian intelligence and was using that data to buy targeted ads to sway a US presidential election, and Trump was doing everything he could to ensure Russia benefited from him being President....
Gee, I don't find it odd at all that the FBI would launch an investigation into this. In fact, isn't that part of their job?
