I need a search engine script. It’s just for the site it’s on, not the whole web. Preferably free, sql-based, and simple to use.
I searched but found nothing that impresses me. Most did the whole webosphere and seem complicated.
Technically it’s for a Wordpress blog. It has a search engine but it isn’t doing all I want. If I search for words in posts, I don’t want it searching ads or sidebar links. For example, if I search here for “fuck” I’d not want every single page to show. Fuck is in the sub-title of categories and I don’t want that.
I’ll upgrade to a paid version after a year to see if the site does well.
