The wall project is on track to get a lot of money from people and organizations who are pro-Trump. But not enough to actually take care of the project's needs. See why it looks like people are flip-flopping in their analysis of what a GoFundMe means? Why are these donations not at least evidence that the country is split and lots of people do like the President and the job he is doing?
FWIW, I think the wall will be for Trump's friends what ACA and solar were for Obama's. A bunch of overpriced crony capitalism with little in common with Main Street capitalism. But he did promise it on the campaign trail, so I guess points for trying to keep his campaign promises.

There are people in America that want to burn the system down, and rebuild. I agree with them on some fronts. Congress is disfunctional and paralyzed.
Trump takes that frustration people have and fuels it with hate for groups of people. These people have donated millions to add to our 857 miles of existing border wall. Good for them.
Remember Stormy Daniels didn't use GoFundMe, she used a new site called Crowdjustice. had she used GoFundMe she would have raised a lot more money IMO.
Trump promised his supporters that Mexicans were going to pay for a border wall to keep illegal Mexicans out.
Trump didn't promise his supporters that he'd shut down our government, and Americans go without pay, until America pays $5 billion for a wall did Mexico was supposed to pay for. Trump is not doing what he promised.
We have 857 miles of border wall remember.
There are foreign interests working hard to divide america. This isn't a natural division.
I moved to Australia for 5 years partly because things were so crazy after 911. I'm thinking of moving back again as America is losing its shit again. People are not constantly pitted against each other in Australia the society there is totally different in the quality of life is so much better.
