Business YNOT Age Verification Issue Has No Serious Discussion of Pricing?

The new issue of YNOT Magazine is about Age Verification:
    https://www.ynot.com/ynot-magazine-2018-04/

There are several times when age verification pricing comes up, but there are just general comments about it. In the articles I read, they didn't pressure the people they are talking to into sharing any actual numbers. If you are running a business, numbers are what you need to understand the issue.

Anyone with direct knowledge of what the pricing looks like for the major Age Verification services?

I believe most will be free for the webmaster and even user if he has certain types of ID on hand.

Some plan on making money by also selling cards sold in shops through UK and of course there's all the data ($$$) being the basis of their platforms.

In the new YNOT issue, there are two different articles where they say it will be free for end users, but the websites that want to use the service will have to pay.

Age Verification is FREE with AVSecure

You do not need to pay for age verification as a merchant. No catches, no onerous contracts, no billing based on volumes, just a reflection of our considered business strategy which will help ensure that you and your customers are in the very safest of hands.

Multiple methods to verify consumers, all of which are free.

Is your service included in the new YNOT issue? They said the new services are all seamless for the end user. Porn surfers can move between sites without re-verifying themselves using some kind of certificate once the user verifies their age once. Does your service work like that as well?

We have spoken to MG about cost free seamless surfing/ swapping tokens and they have yet to take up that offer. Make no mistake, we may have to adopt the coke-pepsi stance. We are more than willing to play nice so lets wait and see how the next couple of months evolve. A great question btw.

There's like half a dozen AV companies now and I bet when the dust settles, it's going to be MG, AVSecure, and maybe one more. Pepsi, Coke, and RC.

The UK has many people, but I can't imagine the market requiring more than 2-3 companies.

There needs to be more than one so that pricing competition exists.

That would be a good point other than the fact you do not need to pay for age verification. AVSecure is a free service to the whole industry.

Again, the quotes in the YNOT article linked in the original post talk about costs, so the fact that there are multiple options, some where the price is zero, sounds good.

Believe me, there will be costs attributed to Age Verification and the webmasters will be the ones to carry the cost. Also, if there is a profit to be made don't you think companies will grab this opportunity?

Porn WILL be more expensive (for British citizens) in the UK.

What about giant free sites like tubes, do you think they will pay to allow visitors on their sites if it costs them money? MindGeek owns some of them, but not all of them.

MG seems to say they want to charge webmasters. But the article doesn't say how much. No one has that pricing info yet?
