I'm trying not to have too many messenger apps on my phone pinging me all day but it seems like a lot of people are on WhatsApp above anything else. What are the benefits for you above something like Skype or a regular text messenger app like IMessage or Android Messenger?

I avoided WhatsApp for as long as I could. I'm on it now and it's awesome. Viber is better, but nobody is on it lol.Comment

So it really sounds like it's most useful for those communicating Internationally. I don't have that need and don't really need another messenger app on my phone or to tend to. I'll stick with traditional text messaging then.Comment
