    What made Tumblr work...

    The fact that it wasn't primarily a porn site.

    Sure you could find tons of porn on it but that wasn't its primary purpose. You could also find old photos of cars, weird artsy fartsy stuff, video clips of cats, news bloggers, etc.. etc. etc..etc.

    I know a girl that built up her following with pictures of her sucking off men and then used that same following to sell her home made jewelry listed on Etsy.

    Any good Tumblr alternative needs to be similar.
    It needs to not be primarily a porn site and it needs to be really simple to use.
    officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.

              Has anyone else been going back and changing out pics to be compliant with the new rules ?? Most of my pics that got posted there were pretty tame anyway, and they don't have any rules about posting images that lead to porn sites, just no images with nudity. Those same people are still going to continue to search/look for porn on tumblr or elsewhere, so if you give them a little tease there, and then lead them off to your blog that is posted elsewhere it may work out just as well
