Thank you very much! The only thing not on the list is why they aren’t paying. Fraud? Disputed stats? Out of business?

I’ve begun scrolling through old posts for research. In many threads it’s hard to figure out why the payment didn’t come through. If just one person complained about a sponsor, do I assume they are the only one?

I know that all my research could still produce a bad sponsor but I’m trying to avoid issues

And to let it get to 4 and 5 figures. Wouldn't you ask for payments faster before debt grows that big?

I thought that, too. But $5k this month, a “problem with the bank” for $5k next month. You pull all links but you’re five figures deep. Old links in Google get clicked, old galleries, etc and the amount due keeps rising.

Meanwhile, they’re raking in the dough before word gets out to some. Many big fish don’t visit forums or don’t notice incoming funds. The sponsor runs off with hundreds of thousands of your money and are based in Malta or Kirkestan or another unpronounceable location. No treaty with USA so you can’t sue or file complaints. USA bank accounts closed while scammers sit pretty on your money. They’ll relax a bit then create a new program. A year or two to get big, another year to get bigger, then a repeat.

I have a vague memory of a big program closing about fifteen years ago— gBill or something similar— and they owed major money to folks here. $25k for some but I think it was $250ish for me. It may have been around the time Visa and other processors said “no more porn” processing. I’m sure other old-timers will remember.
