Does a chaturbate IFrame set a cookie?

If I display an iframe embedded in a page and a surfer clicks on that page. Is the chaturbate cookie getting set? I would have always thought no, but maybe someone else can clarify.

I set up a test page with a single cb iframe.

    Cleared all my chaturbate cookies.

Visited the page, did not click on anything.

Checked cookies, 11 chaturbate cookies are now set.

    Cleared the cookies.

Went back to the page and refereshed.

    Checked cookies, 11 set again.

So, yes, cookies are getting set by having the iframe in the page.

Went back to the page. Clicked into the iframe so it went to chaturbate.

    Checked cookies now 17 set.

thats how cookie stuffing works, just include iframe with affiliate id in url. and you are done.

      popunders are same too.

I guess I should have been more specific... Is the cookie that matters being set.. like the affiliate cookie, so I get credit for the signup.

who gets the affiliate sale on their rev share? The affiliate that got the user to sign up the first time around or the affiliate that's sending the signed up user back to the site?
I am always buying traffic and white labels. Hit me up.

The affiliate that got the sign up owns the user as far as I have been told.

One of the cookies set is affkey and another is fromaffiliate so I would think that yes, the affiliate cookie is set from the iframe. But that is just an educated guess.

I would suggest you ask Steve if you want a definitive answer.

Related, regardless of whether the cookie is presented, many browsers these days will choose to ignore it, because it's not on the same domain as the page.

I remember it was a big thing 10 or 15 years ago when ccbill started tracking sales via IP as well as cookies.
