And here in Germany we are still on SD.
Broadcasting channels charge an extra amount for HD.
    UHD? Forget it!
    8k? What is this even?
I know, my english is bad. But your german might be even worse

85" Class Q900 QLED Smart 8K UHD TV
I haven't even set it up yet as im remodeling my living room. I have a large 30'x12' wall i want to install it on but it needs a lot of work to hide all the HiFi gear and cables etc. Should be ready by Christmas i hope.

Hey, let us know if you see any difference between regular HD Comcast viewing and 8K (upscaled to 8K option only available now) Just wonder if that even make any sense to unload such a large amount of dough...no BlueRay, no content for the next 10 years most likely....

It probably does not make sense as the retail price is around $15,000 But i believe mine is a pre production model and i didn't pay $15,000 for it

I still haven't fully started working in 4k yet...and the world will move up to 8k? Fuck that.

Who is the genius who thinks the eye can see more than 4k on a regular size TV set? Maybe on a movie theater size screen it would make a difference, but it won't be noticeable on 99% of TV sets...nor do 99% of people care about the extra resolution.

Exactly. I work in computer graphics and I don't give a shit about 1080p, 4k, whatever. I like the picture to look clear, but I can barely tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on youtube or my TV. I care more about the content than the tech specs.

                        Agree with all that.

Anyone who does give a shit is likely to be the same people who queue up overnight to be first to get the latest iPhones. Imbeciles!

And how about 16 K they will eventually figure out how to sell it even though the human eye will not be able to see the difference of much anything above the 2 K.... It is akin to see.ing a street car able to do 350 miles/h., and just as stupid.l
