Interesting topic. I think its absurd to deny the clear scientific evidence asserting that climate change is real. Only idiots would deny that which is, for all practical purposes, scientific fact.
However, when it comes to scientific evidence of things I simply don't want to believe (due to the uncomfortable ramifications that belief would entail), I think its perfectly OK to disavow science as utter foolishness and stupidity only for idiots to believe.
