In the event the AG is removed from office the Deputy AG takes his place. That would be Rosenstine. Only the Senate can confirm a new AG. Trump violated US law by appointing anyone at all directly into that position.

He has to come up with a nomination and then the Senate confirms that nomination.

This is not a dictatorship. I think we are going to have to start rounding you Red Hats up and placing you in re-education camps.. In other words Elementary school so you can learn the basics of our govt.
