Image rights for Porn Stars

Hey GFY,

We've been writing articles to capture organic traffic around adult stars. We'd like to use some quality hi-rez images in our articles, but we're concerned about image rights. Is there a central location where you can get images of porn stars for marketing purposes?

A few of these models are on McProfits and have galleries we can use for marketing, but many others aren't on this platform. I have no experience navigating this, so any advice is appreciated.

Plenty of pornstars should have a website or a social media account.
Constant them, tell then what you need and how you will use the images. I am pretty sure they are willing to help you then.

Alright, that makes sense, thank you. I guess it's a case-by-case basis kind of deal? I'm sure some of these stars host free images for promotion on their sites.

If they are currently still active, then the best thing to do was suggested and make contact and ask for material in exchange for a link back to their site.

For old stars there are plenty of non-exclusive content providers that should be able to help you out with a package deal to cover your needs since your only looking for a picture or two I would assume. I saw AFSC was doing a deal for 600sd videos for $300, I would hit them up and see if they will do the same for glam pic sets. They have a pretty good collection of pornstar material. I'll let you decide for yourself if you want to deal with them or not

most people in this industry would just use whatever images they want w/o permission. your odds of getting in trouble are basically 0 as long as you respond to DMCA

If you message stars probably only 1 in 100 will respond

Wow I hadn't considered this as a way to get backlinks, but this is a great Idea. I think we can get the quality to a place where these stars would be willing to link or promote the article. And it doesn't hurt to try and network.

I think we have to do our best to care about this stuff if we want to make the industry better. Porn marketing gets a bad enough rep already!
