It's not a big deal...you obviously forgot that thread. I didn't because I remember scratching my head over you not understanding how Trump negotiates. I even said it was in the book "Art Of The Deal" and you just kind of blew all of that off and proclaimed there was no negotiation going on and even snidely called Trump the great "dealmaker" and how he had failed, etc., etc., etc.
That's why I remembered it well. Took me a couple of minutes to find that thread and show your quoted text on the matter.
Only reason I did that was to show you that I wasn't lying.
I guess these days when someone defends themselves...it's a "bad" thing.
Just like when people call Trump a "nazi" and "dangerous" and "stupid" and "has dementia" and "racist", etc. and then he responds to that...the media claims HE is "attacking" people.

I don't think anyone has placed any doubt on that.
But as I have stated many times, the republicans will not lift a finger to change any of it.
They have went out of their way to be sure it stays as it is.
Trump has to know this. So it's just grandstanding for votes.
This could be resolved very quickly, but it would be one less issue to raz folks for votes.
They are in charge and can do as they wish as we have seen with anything else.
So what's their excuse for sitting on their hands for 2 years.
It's all hype and your buying it. If they can't do anything about it now, how will they do anything as a minority party ?
Except block any change in the senate.

Those Republican Congressmen and Senators are all establishment puppets. You are 100% correct on that.
Hell...half of them publicly stated that they voted for Hillary in the election and disavowed the President until they got shocked like the rest of the establishment and watched him win the election.
And now they all pay lip service to him trying to get a rub off his popularity with the base.
