What is the best way to generate traffic to a tube site nowaday?
5 years ago it was traffic trade scripts and SEO. Is it still the case? Any script/technique I should master?

I am actually trying to do that but it seems really hard but thats what i did: I didnt do anything special, i tried to focus on onpage SEO, titles and descriptions, Alt tags etc.

In my case my website somehow ranked on one keyword on yandex (asian search engine) from there i generate 200 visitors a day. my site is self coded and my content is special so my bounce rate is at 25% and users stay over 4 minutes

Nothing big of course but a beginning and I can see that my site is wanted by people. It seems to be hard to rank on Google though, I contacted many admins on several tube ranking or review sites but I only got one answer.

You need to buy some links but no cheap links, Google wont pay attention and could mark them as spam

PS: You also could buy traffic but in my opinion organic traffic is the best you can get.

Yeah it is difficult. I think focusing on SEO, like Redjohn said, is better. Well we don"t have a lot of choices anyway. And try to grab links here and there. Also watermarked videos on popular tubes.

Submit your links to reddit on the relevant subreddits, you can get nice traffic from quality geos. But dont spam, the key is to post with a good taste of amount of the posts

SEO's definitely the way to go; however, smart media buying and referral traffic generation (through reddit posts, blog comments, etc) can help with SEO

most review sites won't review you if you have no traffic, so consider offering to pay them for reviews
