    Tip of the day

    Dont spread your money too thin
    there are guys that get 5000 hits a day to there sites and have 10 sponsers on the site

    it takes 5 months for them to earn a check from any particular sponsor because they have 20 dollars built up in each one and the minimum payout on each of his sponsors is $50

    So he has earned $200 and cant get it cause he has another 6 months befor his traffic will have earned him the minimum payout

    If you want to promote many different types of sites use a program like www.cashtour.com and and get paid on one check for all the sites.

    It is depressing to know you have made the money but cant touch it cause you havnt met the minimum

    So keep your sponsors at a minimum to avoid the NPD (NO PAY DUE) sindrome.

      To expand on tankers tip. Also if you let all this time go by while you are trying to accumulate a min pay check, alot can happen. The sponsor can come up with some reason to not pay you, like if you stop promoting them etc.... Stick with a sponsor that has an impecable reputation, Like AP and all their programs... You will never be sorry with lensman. And what other sponsor is there that you can tell to Go Fuck themselves in public and still get paid

              LOL fredicus, I guess it does look like I'm kinda blowing lens....hahaha I'm just stating some true facts. what other sponsors are there that always pay ontime everytime, have Real phone numbers, A great staff that will answer your questions withen minutes, has a killer board like this, gives away promo stuff daily, shit I could go on more, but I think your right, It sounds like Im Blowing Lensman....hahahhaha NOT!!
              All of this is from my own personal experiences. I've been in this biz several years, I've used AP for my small little sites for a long time. Now since Ive started Lightning Free I use them as my primary sponsor, and believe me when I tell you We do some serious biz together... I will back AP & Their motley crew forever

                      By reading the boards carefully a new webmaster can often determine which programs are good, which are not.

                      I hear what tanker is saying, and that IS important for new webmasters, but
                      once you get going it is a good idea to spread things around just a little

                      If you were totally reliant on one website to pay you and they had a financial crisis, it could hurt real bad

                      it is better to get 20 $1,000 cheques rather than 1-$20K cheque
                      ...

                          sorry rip but i havent found 20 sponsors that work for me..

                          i do know that i have a sponsor for a flat rate proggy, a sponsor for a per click proggy, and a sponsor for recurring....

                              It is not

                              It took me the best part of a year to find half a dozen reliable sponsors which I was comfortable with

                              between that time 3-4 closed their programs... 3-4 made some cancellation errors and I had to have a few email conversations to get the money (which I eventually received from all of them)

                              The just when I thought that I was set linking codes or rules changed or programs changed.

                              I have this one suggestion for newbies, when you are building your site(s), drive all your banners to a fpa, it'll save you hours or days of work in changing links. Instead of updating 500 pages, you'll only need to change one

                                  Shit I can't even tell you all the sponsers I'm signed up with. It is great when I get a check for 50$ and don't have a clue who it's from though.

                                      Always read the rules and then read them again, check out the minium payment find out if they change something in there rules weather you will be notified cause this sucks If they dont tell you.you will send traffic for weeks and not get paid.
                                      AP is great if your traffic is suited.

                                                      It's True, i use 3 sponsors, Trafficcash, Trafficcash gold And AP... I have just a small amount of money from each one on it's way to me, and it sucks...

                                                      I also have some money tied up in flashcash... it's all my blind money floating in there, and it's on recurring... and i haven't met the min payout... UGH...
