Some People See Racism In Everything

I saw a link to a cute puppy video so clicked it. I was laughing really hard because the puppies were so funny.

Then I scrolled down to “comments”. One moron actually was angry that the video of the puppy with paws raised as someone said, “hands up, don’t shoot” was racist. The puppy was mostly black.

Yeah. WTF?! He posted twice about it being racist. What kind of mind thinks that way? I never thought of the color of the dog, just enjoyed the little paws. While reading the comments, I thought this world will end because some moron will think they see racism and will bomb the planet. Countries go to war, groups attack people, all for the racism THEY see.

Now, if the video began with someone saying, “a black person confronted by a white person”, people would laugh but many would be upset. It’s a bad joke unless the dog pissed right at the speaker. Racism isn’t funny but this could be turned into a joke with a disclaimer.

People are looking for ways to incite anger. They’re taking innocent situations and turning them into race wars. Just shut the fuck up, laugh and coo at the video, and don’t turn it into a DRAMATIC overplayed drama.
