What is the best way to go about protecting movies in the members area of a paysite. I am worried about exclusive content being downloaded and traded on Kazza. Is anyone using any of the file protection companies like secureyourmedia.com or drmnetworks.com? If so what are your experiences.

I want a program where the member can download the movies and watch the movies on their computer for as long as their membership is active. Once they cancel their subscription the movies will no longer work. I want them to be able to download the movies but I want them to be able to watch the movies on their computer without having to be connected to the internet at all times. So the protection should be able to protect the movies for blocks of say 10 days at a time, so after 10 days they will have to log onto the internet so the movie can see if the membership is still valid.

I will need this to work for mpeg and wmv videos

Im working on a new project (www.streampartner.dk - will be ready for launch in 2 weeks) because im tired of all my movies ending up on peoples harddrives.We shoot our own content, and the only place it should be is on our server.

I know a lot of other people would want the same thing, thats why we are building that service
