Fruit is good if eaten in the right amounts, the same as any other food.
The problem is most people will buy some tangerines or some grapes and just sit there and eat them all while watching the realitytv thing.

1) fructose is bad for the human body
2) fruit has high fructose and is low in nutrients (top 40 nutrient dense foods and the first fruit is in position #30 with a total of 5 fruits on that list)
3) vegetables are more nutrient dense than fruit and contain less fructose (top 40 nutrient dense foods and vegetables hold the first 29 places, even dynamo confirmed this with his list)
the question for the "experts" because dynamo obviously does not know the answer: why fruit?

You're focused on fructose for some strange reason. There are so many things that are bad for you can't possibly eliminate them from your diet unless you want to eat fucking bean sprouts and cabbage. That's boring. Everything is ok in moderation. Fuck your scientific knowledge. I had a giant bowl of ice cream before bed last night and I still have a six pack the next day and also I'm not dead. Your problem is you know too much so all you do is talk.
You can worry about fructose if you're guzzling a gallon of corn syrup daily. It's not necessary to worry about it if you eat a normal, healthy amount of fruit.

There are no studies that have been done to research whether frucose from processed sugar is worse than fructose from fruit because: fructose is fructose...they are THE SAME...
As for moderation, sure, if you work out you can get away with moderation, or if you have a fast metabolism...you could also smoke in moderation, but most people do not do well with moderation...
BUT
if you have the need to count calories in the first place: THEN YOU PROBABLY FUCKING CANT get away without gainig fat, BECAUSE YOU ARE FUCKING COUNTING CALORIES HELOOOO...my advice is rock solid...fructose = you fuck yourself for 20 seconds of oral pleasure...

wrong...20OZ is the standard dose of soda in the USA and nowhere else in the world...I think 8oz is the standard, I do not drink canned shit it so I do not know but its around that...a normal can of coca cola has 13g of fructose (25g of sugar total 55% is fructose), one banana has 8...one apple has 16 grams of fructose...So now you're a fucking chemist? I suck at eating, never been a forte and my Rasta cab dude who even though only two months younger than my mom has become a friend and keeps bringing me food without me even asking. I adore him. He's such a treat in my life.
too sad right now to eat much. keep forgetting.
tofu and salsa and spicy V8s. plus frozen blueberries and watermelon
once I get my strength back physically and mentally will get my abs back as well.

you meatheads aren't understanding the problem as per usual...Same here. I maintain around 10 to 12% body fat and eat grapes, grapefruit, oranges, cantaloupe, etc. But I make sure I stay within a calorie target range.
These people demonizing sugar have been brainwashed.
I even have cupcakes and ice cream. Not that I think it's good for me physically, but it's good for the mental part of staying in shape. You need to fuck up once in a while to keep the diet going long term.
When people are asking about these kinds of things they are NOT bodybuilders and they are NOT sub 12% bodyfat, not ever. so your examples are worthless bullshit unless you are talking to other bodybuilders maintaining. You can get away with eating more fruit than the rest of us because you are lean already and you are in higher metabolism bracket than most. Not from diet but just from the fact you are lean. So fat people eating fruit is stupid, at least anything larger than a size of a single handful a day.
Neither of you dimwits lost your fat from piling on the fruit, neither of you have been anywhere near a competition and done that either, unless you lost miserably...
