    I've never really "bashed" Trump

    I've made a few "snarky" remarks; but nothing beyond what friends do to each other.

    I'm saying this now because, within hours, Trump is going to be really important to me.
    I will see close up what horror is like when you have no reasonable means to avoid it.

    I think I'll still be standing, even if bare naked; and then have a realistic opportunity to
    judge what Trump is all about.

    I will stand wet and naked to watch what he does for "his people".

    So see you in hell if I'm not online Monday.


    But then again; all of this could be avoided if Rochard sent me a plane ticket to come stay with him.

                                                                                  The storm is weakening but I wish I could cut down this tree before it gets here.
                                                                                  The tree died from half way up to the top. Not a single leaf above the lighting strike.
                                                                                  A pretty big limb fell three days ago from the rain and partly hit the house.
                                                                                  Bigger limbs than that one are ready to fall and I figure the trunk could fall in this storm.

                                                                                      The storm is 200 miles away from me now and I'm not seeing nearly as much wind as in the past with other hurricanes that were not even this close to me.

                                                                                      So I'm starting to become more optimistic even though the storm is set for the eye to go
                                                                                      right over me.

                                                                                      I think it will be weak by the time it hits me; but it will probably flood.
                                                                                      I'm sort of on a hill so I'm in a decent place in case of a flood.

I've spent the morning watching reporters sporting hip waders standing in puddles. They are trying to make the most of this Cat 1 storm - oh, but the water and power outages! The horror!

After all, it's a direct result of cancelling the Paris climate accord. On one hand, they say he's just a 4th grader having daily tantrums. On the other, he has godlike powers that can create storms! Any deaths or property damage will surely be his fault as well. If the response is anything but stellar ... yup, Trump's fault. The libs will be expecting a federal 24/7 Servpro response (like it never happened) covering two entire states.
