    paxum question - factoring

i just had someone send me a paxum payment and normally when i check my account it says tranfer but this says "factoring" and the email i got also said: The service is provided pursuant to Paxum Factoring Terms of Use.

anyone know what that means? How is this different than any other transfer?

thanks for the link im just a little unclear

So here is the email i got

This email confirms that [email protected] Paxum Inc has purchased your invoice #212910, issued to [email protected]
      Payment Details
      Transaction Number: 62590549
      Transaction Date: 2018-09-10 15:30:46
      Purchase Price: xxx.00 USD
      Invoice Details: exchange
      Sincerely,
      paxum.com team

The service is provided pursuant to Paxum Factoring Terms of Use.

based on the link provided by denny its my understanding paxum bought this invoice from xxxx and gave him the money for it. Which he then sent the money to me under "factoring". Now if he did a fraudulent Sale or intentionally provided false or misleading information to Paxum, the Sale, the Claim or the Assignment of Claim, (in regards to his Customer he invoiced). And paxum finds him to have done something fraudulent does that mean they/paxum could reverse the payment i have received from him at a later time?

i just want to make sure if i send him pay pal for this paxum money im not at risk later for paxum taking the money back if he did something wrong or fradulant?

I hope that makes sense, thanks for you help!

ok so does that mean paxum could reverse the money and i would have to owe it back if he did something wrong? Sorry not sure how else to ask the question, but i do appreciate the information. I have just never received money before and had it say factoring. normally it just says transfer.

what is confusing is that the email i got says paxum bought my invoice issued to ceo@... but i have never sent ceo@... an invoice #212910. I think this is a scam the sender is trying to pull. He asked me to trade paxum for pay pal. When he sent the paxum money he some how got paxum to factor an invoice i never created.

You should publish the email. If I recall correctly scumbag Brandon Ackerman was using an email address that started with [email protected] or something along those lines...

so he contacted me and said he has $243 in paxum and wanted to trade it for pay pal. I gave him my paxum email and instead of getting an email that says such and such just sent you money i get an email that says paxum has bought my invoice. I have never seen this before.

Not sure why you're having this issue. I sent Chris a link to this thread. All I did was transfer the small amount to the account address you sent me. So either complete the transfer or send the money back to our Paxum account.

PS. Have not done business with any of these people above.

                            Nice feedback reviews here: https://gfy.com/members/marlboroack/

The invoicing thing is normal. Has to do with USA regulations.

Yes, it's normal if you are paid by someone from the USA (USA Business Account-Holder). Been like that for months, Paxum announced that in February:

New Changes Coming to Paxum Account Holders!

Paxum is changing the way you get paid from USA Business Account-Holders. As of today, all your invoices to US Payers, will be sold to Paxum and paid instantly by Paxum. We will present all purchased claims to the US Payer ourselves and collect the funds directly from the US Payer.

Also we are introducing the following additional fees to Paxum Account Holders in order to continue providing you with the best service possible:

Personal Account Holders will be charged $0.25 USD per received Paxum payment.
Busines Account Holders will be charged $1.00 USD per received Paxum payment.
All accounts that have no transactions for more then 180 days, will be charged $5.00 USD per month dormant account fee.

Please log in to your Paxum Account and accept the new terms to continue using your Paxum Account.

It's normal, Paxum does this factoring stuff for every payment that's sent from the US.
If you're signed up to US-based affiliate programs, you'll see that all their payments go through Paxum factoring.

I believe this is a way for Paxum to comply with US laws easier.
