NY DA is now targeting the Trump foundation

The NY DA has subpoenaed Cohen for information related to the Trump foundation.. This happened yesterday but went under the radar largely due to the other news..

In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

Cohen said under oath that he and Trump cheated to win an election. He is an illegitimate President and should be treated as such. Any Supreme Court nominee needs to be halted until we get to the bottom of this.

This was kind of the Republican strategy when Obama went to nominate someone to the Supreme Court, and I thought it was wrong. I think it's wrong to do this now too. Until Trump is ruled to be illegitimate or until he is removed from office, he is in fact the President.

What they are doing is simple.... They are going to charge him for state crimes. I believe the President can only pardon someone who is convicted of federal crimes, not state crimes.

This ensures Cohen goes to jail, and Trump cannot pardon him for this.

And if he decides to start bombing a dozen other countries to distract we should just let him?

The problem with just assuming he is guilty and "shutting him down" so to speak is that we do have the presumption of innocence. Yeah, it sucks that he gets to nominate another Supreme Court justice especially considering that they straight up stole the last one, but if we just start going around the justice system, we stop becoming a nation of laws. At some point the cycle has to stop. If the Democrats go after Trump without him being charged with or convicted of a crime, the Republicans will do the same to the next Democrat POTUS.

It's best to just let the investigation play its course and hope justice will be done. At this point, the most important thing Democrats can do is make sure they turn out and vote in November.

Na when Obama was POTUS Republicans blocked SC nomination claiming no SC should be nominated on an election year. They then blocked it after the election.

This SC needs to be blocked because Republicans stole the last nomination from Obama.

The man you are giving a presumption of innocence is the very man who chants "lock her up" for someone who has been found to have committed no crimes.

Eye for a eye.. Trump can live and be judged by his own words..

Again, he is in the fact the President of the United States until he is removed from office. I would imagine the general public had similar questions and discussions about Nixon shortly before he was impeached. Until he is removed from office, he can do whatever he wants. If he wants to bomb Syria into the stone age no one would be able to stop him - or at least it would be difficult to do.

I honestly believe that once we reach this point the ONLY proper thing to is resign. This will become entirely consuming and will render the President unable to do his job. It's like Senator Franken. The moment accusations were made, he resigned (more or less). At a certain point it became obvious these legal issues would interfere with his ability to his job. It's becoming more and more obvious that this is leading to impeachment and removal. Trump can fight this all he wants, but this is where all of this is going.

We now have what - eight people close to Trump who are now felons since the campaign? The Democrats are going to hammer this point home that Trump isn't draining the swamp, he is filling it with criminals. I am guessing the Democrats will do well in the mid terms, and then push to impeach.

                  Trump is fucked.

I have no problem saying whatever anyone wants about Trump. I don't care if people accuse him of starting the Great Chicago Fire. But if we start bypassing the law, things get shitty. He's a shitty human being who is trying to bring down entire segments of our government to cover his ass, but we still need to proceed with the law. When we bypass the law just because we don't like him, someone else will someday do it to us. I'd rather not start us down that slipper slope.

He has admitted he broke the law with his own words. He admitted to committing a crime yesterday on fox and friends.

Presumption of innocence only works if the checks and balances are also working. Right now Republicans in Congress refuse to do their job and hold a president who has admitted to committing crimes in check.

With that being fact, he needs to be shut down until the legal case is brought against him since Republicans in Congress no longer support Constitutional law.

                          No , it isn't ...

Obama was not suspected of being a mole for the russian ... or elected on a fraud.

His only flaw was that he only had one year left before election ... and bering black .

It was illegal and the dems should have done whatever it takes to nominate their choice ( this is what the repubs are doing )
I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....
