    Webcam dilemma

Lets say you have a webcam aggregator site that is regularly doing sales to all the non-free webcam sites. You're regularly making money on your Streamate WL, imlive and LJ.

this is a niche webcam site, the question is:
Would you add free-cam site like chaturbate to the mix which has a lot of unique models matching your niche ?

What Im concerned about is that once the surfers see the free cams they will stop spending on the paid sites.

Is there any logic in such thinking ?

Test on separate entity instead of risking the primary entity.

I run them all and in my experience the "free" site users ultimately spend more.

I recently ditched chaturbate feeds on my site, to also speed the site up. It makes me the least amount of money and is promoted equally with awempire. I'm talking chaturbate is 5-10% of my revenue. I just don't think it works as well for my niche.

freemium and premium, there is a lot of difference.
Freemium cam sites are great for your useless cam traffic, it's like a mac Donalds drive through, however, premium sites are like a classy dinner...

If it's a niche webcam site I will stay away from freemium sites and I'll go with premium ones! A single spender on a premium webcam site usually spends 10x $ of what a spender spends on a freemium site!

It is hard to tell if it is going to work with your traffic. Do some tests.

You'll be a lot better of if you re aggregated on your WL 2 and then Streamated the stream to LJ or even better to BJ and then got the non free to be free. Then referring to imlive I rather be imdead instead and then match the non free models with the free ones and chaturbate them to extinction. Unique is fine, and the surfers will open their wallets once the non free and free become bated enough to make no distinction. And there you have it

What I do on some sites is to show these free cams only for countries banned by Streamate.

So if a user is from IN or RU or other banned countries they will see the free cams, the paying countries will never see them.

This seems to increase user engagement and make the sites more popular.

Have you seen any penalty or improvement from organic Google search results using this method?

I have done some testing of throttling various countries that have little value on a CDN based tube to limit their bandwidth usage and Google smacked the site hard.

Definitely test your options, but don't touch what's converting now. Maybe clone the site on another domain name and try freemiums there.

I would keep freemium off of this niched site.

Then create a new one with all sources.

If you have something that is working wonders, never fuck with it in a major way or you can have a huge backlash and never get back to where you were.
