Sure I have been told a pedo joke, when I was younger I laughed at a couple. I never heard a long well crafted one, it's usually a 1 liner that is just meant to give you a shock. If someone went into a 2 minute pedo joke, I might think they were weird.

Again if the timing is right I could see it getting a laugh. The older you get the less I hear shocking jokes, I think it's just a question of maturing, but back when I was in my late teens I would hear, Jew jokes, rape jokes .... blah blah etc..

I agree. Pedo and rape and abusing kids and hitting women and so on are not jokes I laugh at. I "get" them, I "understand" why the comic in question is saying them (to be 'edgy' and shock people into paying attention to them) but I still find them disgusting and NOT funny.
