Never get your health tips from news sites... The writers never understand the subject matter so what they focus on are words that stand out more than anything, this one being 'bacon'. Any studies that get attention like this are almost always misrepresented and misinterpreted but the scientists involved are happy to get published anywhere to aid in further funding so that messes with the facts in its own.

The only thing unhealthy in bacon are the nitrates in them and the food colouring. If you buy butcher bacon that goes away. Case closed.. don't ever eat a low fat diet, eat a vegetable every now and then and cut down your sugar and your brain health will be better than most into old age.
