Cambridge Analytica which was founded by Steve Bannon & Robert Mercer has now been directly linked to Russia, by the British investigation.
"Damian Collins, the Conservative MP leading a British parliamentary investigation into online disinformation, told CNN that a British investigation found evidence that the data, collected by Professor Aleksandr Kogan on behalf of Cambridge Analytica, had been accessed from Russia and other countries. The discovery was made by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Britain's data protection authority, Collins said."
This is from the Brit's investigation into Cambridge Analytica because the company is registered in the UK.

Makes you wonder what triggered Bannon to dive off the deep end into far right conspiracy nonsense. He used to fund science projects and made a handful of films in the 90s, before he became radicalized by the far right.
