I'm not a fan of it, but I can't see how 3D printed guns can be illegal as long as they are properly registered. They have to be treated as homemade guns are now. Meaning they can never be bought or sold.

Right now you can legally make your own gun and it's not against the law. It is however illegal to sell that home made gun.

Example here is a guy that made a sheet metal handgun.



The biggest problem is 3D printers greatly lower the threshold for people to actually do it.

This means anyone who wants to can make their own firearm. At home. Like baking a cake.

My neighbor got a flamethrower legally...it has a co2 backpack and a small napalm can on the front side...it shoots a 50ft flame for 60seconds...scary shit...
