You know when you are going to a place to eat and the person seating you says, " Hi, I am ____ and I'll be your server for the evening"

Ever get tempted to ask them if they are a dedicated server (only your table) or a shared server? (many tables)

At times I have pondered this, even had server outtages last night at dinner ( she got off her shift and forgot to cash out our table)

LOL...Although I can see where this would be fun at a convention...If I were to pull that shit with my normal friends and family at the table, they would all look at me and think WTF is this idiot talking about. Of course they do that anyway but that is a different story.

If nobody gets the joke and you have to explain it then it loses all of its fun.

Yah, it has to be with the crew that can appericate the question, the server seating you always get this really strange look on their face when asked. Some have gotten a laugh and actually sat and talked shop a lil....
