Here's the the thing.... You can be a bad person in life, and be a dick, and some minor laws - like threatening other people and bad business practices - and no one will be the wiser. But right now for Cohen there is a microscope on him like he never imagined.

This is the way our legal system works. They bring as much weight as they can on someone until they roll over.

So Cohen withdrew his defense agreement. In reverse, the same thing happened to the Clinton Administration when Ken Starr investigated Whitewater and Lewinsky. Depending on which side you're on, it's merely a Prosecutor / Defense annoyance.
