    Xtreme Football League - XFL

    So, any sport fans out there? What do you guys and gals think of the XFL? Does it stand a chance of competing with the NFL? I think it will be more interesting than NFL. I really like the concept of low salaries and bonuses for winning to keep the players motivated. Players don't work as hard when they have $100 million in the bank, I imagine.

      I think it will be interesting to see how it goes. I agree that Most of all sports players get WAY overpaid for what they do. Its actually rediculas the saleries they get. and they even complain...geeeesssshhhh

              XFL stars on NBC (I think) any week now. I've seen their ads on tv and read an article about the league in Esquire or somewhere...one of those mags I keep in the bathroom.

                  Gov Ventura does a couple of publicity ads for them saying some crap about 'this is how football was meant to be'. Aren't they really a bunch of NFL has beens and never was's?

                  Bet cha $10 bucks that any one of their players would jump at the opportunity to play with the big dogs.

                                      XFL is an interesting idea but it will take some time to see if it is really worth it. I plan on watching the first couple games and if it doesn't bore me, I'll pick it up.

                                          I fairly excited, because unlike most people I Don't think players are over paid, they are just under worked
                                          Unessasary Roughness is a bunch of crap...IMHO In fact if you knock a guy out of a game it should be extra points.

                                          I would like to bring back Gladator fights for guys that get life in prison or the death penalty. Then put it on pay per view and start a victims fund with the cash it generates...
