Because Tom Arnold is a celebrity. Cohen has a lot shit coming down on him...so it probably was a moment of much needed levity.
He let his guard down...and Tom Arnold jumped at the chance to get some publicity and attack Trump using Cohen.

I haven't followed Tom Arnold in the last decade or so. But I used to like the movies he was in. Thought he had a likable quality to him that came through on film.

But yeah...in that interview he's pretty fucked up.

And now he has joined many others in Hollywood in alienating at least half of the potential audience for anything he is involved in.
Just doesn't make any business sense to me.
