Germany make probably the best car ever. The Porsche Had a 911 twin Turbo in the UK and a 968 in California both amazing cars. I had a Range Rover (made in the UK) in California and had issue after issue with it!! In Maine all you can own are trucks or tanks because the roads are so bad and they lay thousands of tons of salt during the winter, your car will rust through within 3 years.

You will buy German, Italian and English cars like Bentley, Mercedes, BWM, Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari. I voted for Obama, twice as a matter of fact. Keep in mind though, Democrat or Republican, they are all liars and really can not do much without the approval of Congress. After Congress it has to go through the Senate (treaty approvals). Anytime in between whatever it is that's trying to be passed can be veto'd and as our Government is famous for, nothing gets done.
On the other hand, I can not see how the United States can allow other countries to Tariff the crap out of the US while some Americans feel it's no big deal.
I travel a great deal on business to foreign countries. Their infrastructure is spot on. I return to the States, pot-holes on the runway, bridges collapsing. Just like our immigration policy with Mexico and Cuba, enough is enough.
Unless you prefer to see the United States run in to the ground, which it currently is.
Why on earth would the illegals want to now come to the United States ? - This is not the United States of yesteryear. Mexico has a lot of our jobs. Why are the Mexican people venturing North to the States where there is nothing for them besides to work picking fruits and vegetables in the fields for pennies on the dollar.
I don't get it. United States citizenship isn't what it used to be. Right now we are a melting pot and it's a shame Canada isn't taking note of what has happened to the United States.

1. if goods are made in US the prosperity from the normal and poorer people will be far lower because they have to buy less for the money they have.
2. most of US exports are based on cheap imports of raw materials and parts what can easily be done with cheap wages. if this all will be made in US these exports will be too expensive to compete on the global market. means: this industries will be fucked also.
3. imports from countries like china are creating prosperity in this countries. how else can china fight back? they are one of the biggest buyers of US goods.
with WHAT should they pay it if they don´t sell?
4. trump´s tradewar nobody will win. the whole world economy will be disturbed. but US debts are already that high that i don´t have a clue from what this losses will be paid?

It depends... Which exactly cars do you mean? Russian trucks like Kamaz are not bad at all: Dakar Rally - Wikipedia - as you can see, they are winning almost all rallies for many years. I don't see any American trucks in the list of winners. Do you?
Maybe you mean passenger cars like Lada X-Ray and Lada Vesta (you can click the links to see which exactly cars I'm talking about)? These are almost the same shit like your Fords. Maybe yours of the same class are a bit better, but not significantly.
The problem is that they (the new Ladas) are very overpriced. I may buy such a car for $800 USD or so, but not for $12K USD as they being sold in auto salons. Read my post above. Poor people here still drive the cars made more than 20 years ago, because they can't afford even a new bicycle (they definitely have no $12K USD to buy a new Lada). Others who have a job, prefer European and Asian cars, because for the price of Lada, you can buy a normal car made in Japan, RK etc. They don't buy Ladas and Fords. Maybe some mentally ill "patriots" buy them, but only to discover that they've got some overpriced piece of shit and to sell it after a year when they will be completely annoyed by constant problems. I'm am I typical Russian, but I have never owned Lada or Ford.
