Registring a Trademark

Has anyone here registered a trademark for their company and if so, what company did you use to register the trademark?

Thanks a lot
Brent

First one I used a company called Trademark Express http://www.tmexpress.com/

Second and third I did myself at the gov website http://www.uspto.gov/main/trademarks.htm

Thanks PK, did you find it fairly straight forward filing the trademark yourself?

Yep.. if I can do it anyone can. The first one where I used a company was before they had the online service available. Main thing is to do a good search in their database to make sure it's not already trademarked in the class yours would be.

How much does it cost to register a trademark?

Also, what's the average length that the Patent Office will take to clear your trademark?

I heard it can take up to a couple months.
