    Site Design - Macromedia Flash too distracting?

    Anyone here use any Flash animation to jazz up their sites? Or is it better to keep things simple when promoting a sponsor like amateur pages?

    If any of you incorporate Flash into a successful (i.e. money-making) web site, I'd be interested in checking it out.

          flash sites piss me off...i always close the window when i get on one....most of the time you cannot skip the intros and it takes forever....the simpler the layout is the best it sells

                  yep, alot of flash sites are overdone. BUT, as more people get access to broadband, flash will become the standard for interactive webpages. just check out booty call. That's some funny shit: http://www.romp.com/animations/show.php?series=booty&

                      Flash is good mixed with good photoshop gfx if you knew the old phong design it looked very good
