There are many articles written about the need for a mental health equivalency test in order to purchase a gun, none I've read are in conservative news media, I'm sure you've read them to. We should all be diligent now about that before it gets to be a democratic bill. I'm confident you don't want that either.

I don't believe video games are the problem. When I was a kid we used to play "Marine" in the backyard with a toy M16. This was back in the day of Pac Man, Frogger, and Missile Command. They have the same exact video games in the UK but also no mass school shootings.

This nonsense about "protecting schools" needs to stop. There was two armed guards at the school, and still had ten killed and ten wounded. People watch way too much TV and think that a good guy with a gun will stop a bad guy with a gun before anyone gets hurt, and this is clearly not true. During the shooting in Texas law enforcement engaged the gunman for thirty-five minutes.

Mark, do u really believe that playing 1st person shooter games will have no effect? These games were developed as combat simulators for soldiers. No, I'm not saying that playing them leads to homicidal behavior, but in some cases where a kid is already mentally unstable, yeah it could push them over the edge

Yup, saw this in the morning on CNN almost pissed myself laughing when he blamed the violence on movies and "skipped" the video games.... I used to like him after he fell on his sword for Reagan but now ( after today) I consider him as just another lying and money grabbing scumbag..
