A deal will be made. I'm certain of that now. In fact, the deal is >95% done now. Remember, trump's not a details guy, he's said his negotiating tactic here is about "attitude". That means the detail guys on both sides have been ironing out a deal that trump and Un will already know about and have agreed to. USA can't leave the table without a deal.

It won't be a CVID deal. I bet it will be a deal very much in principle and over a very extended length of time. Involving tit for tat steps but no real denuclearization anytime soon.

I guess the good news is trump has walked back his fire and fury rhetoric and tensions between the 2 will be reduced.

There's no winning though, Sanctions come off, then the first country in will be China and I can't see South Korea liking a Chinese dominated and owned North Korea.... which incidentally was one of the reasons for the war starting in the first place, except now not only does China have political clout, they've economic.
