I was photographed for Penthouse about a year ago and I would like to use the pictures for my new website, would they get mad if I did?

Talk to Penthouse first. If they have a problem with it, then talk to Tanker, He can set up a shoot for you, and then you will have all the pics you need all yours. And to be honest, if your really penthouse material, i'll be willing to bet you can get any photographer or for that matter, any pervert with a camera to do a shoot of you , for you. Call Tanker and Lensman if you need a pervert to take the shoot. If your on the east coast call me. I can hook you up. But in all seriousness, check with penthouse first and also check your contract that you have with them. You already may be ok with the pics you have.

Penthouse doesn't like when models who have been in the magazine start their own site and then use Former Penthouse Model or have the Penthouse logo on their site.
They had an industry ad in AVN or Klixxx last year about this issue and said they would aggressively pursue site operators who do this.
Penthouse is supposedly having $ probs according to the buzz going around. He even has his NYC townhouse up for sell for $20 Mil. I think circulation has gone way south compared to what it used to be also.

As long as your aren't re-selling them or selling prints of them or something the chances are slim you'll ever hear from them about it. I can see where they could prevent the use of the logo on her site, that's definitely making a case for copyright infringement. However there's no way for them to keep her from using the descriptor of Penthouse Pet, etc so long as it's true.Originally posted by KRL

Terri Welles and Playboy went round and round about this issue not too many years ago and the judge agreed with Terri on usage -- it would be completely ridiculous to expect her not to call herself a Playboy Playmate on her site since that's what she was.Comment

Cindy check the model release and contract. If Penthouse paid you for the shoot they own the pictures end of story.
Check with them and ask if you can use them, but I doubt if they will agree. They might allow you to use the pics in a "Portfolio" type site, but that will be it. Kimmykim is right, they cannot stop you telling people that you worked for them and were the Pet of the month or just in the magazine. They probably would not care if you use one or two of their pics and their logo. But the effective word here is THEIR they paid, they own. Ask them first.Comment
