I think Cohen worships the ground Trump walks on.

With that said, Cohen is in a lot of trouble.

Before you even give consideration to the legal issues his is currently facing... Cohen is heavily invested in a number of cab companies in NYC. This might have been a great investment ten years ago, but obviously a lot has changed since then. It seems his taxi companies are in trouble, and the State Of NY has filed multiple tax liens against five or six of his companies.

As for the rest of it... It doesn't look good. The FBI doesn't get warrants that violate the attorney client privilege without having a both a good reason and evidence. They have something, they have evidence, and they are going after him.

Then look at the bigger picture... They are squeezing him financially and then going after him legally. They are going to bury him. Cohen might worship the ground Trump walks on but Cohen is going from a rich and successful business man to being broke and being someone's wife in prison for a decade.

Even if Trump gives him a pardon, he'll still be bankrupt.

My 2¢, FWIW... I don't think Cohen will deliberately inform on Trump, but the info gleaned from the seized files will likely prove one way or the other whether the hush money paid to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal should have been declared as an in kind campaign contribution, which violates a number of election laws. Even if guilty, there would probably only be fines involved for Trump.

Cohen's biggest legal problems are most likely not directly related to his connections with Trump.
