You should watch the first one! I'm telling you you'll love it & laugh your ass off at the same time.

i did. The first time when it came out i turned it off after 30 minutes, i just couldn't take the appalling attempt at 'humor' - extremely childish like it's made for kids in puberty. Once a big shiny silver man was introduced, it was the last straw for me.

But i did try and watch it again, because i wanted to understand what i missed because it's praised by so many people. This time i made it to the end. I smiled twice, which is unique for a superhero movie but really, really bad for movies in general that are supposed to be comedic. The humor relies heavily on 'cool witty fuckity fuck fuck' jokes. It's annoying as hell.

By the way, i also tried to watch your favorite movie 'the winter soldier' a while back. Shut if off 1 minute in. I have never seen a big budget movie start off with such amateurish standard writing, dialogue and wooden acting. And the guy playing captain america talks like a robot, has no personality whatsoever - the boring soap opera style totally irrelevant 'hows the weather' style dialogue doesn't help either.

If i paid for a ticket for this movie i would feel robbed just 1 minute in. That's a record!

Before the superhero movie hype, i never shut off a movie or stopped watching. These movies are so bad that they managed to make this movie fan shut movies off. Something i could not imagine doing 10 years ago or so, because i never had any reason to. Which means the quality of movies has never been so extremely low as it is now.

boy as a teen I'll bet you were the life of the party and by that, I was being sarcastic you were proly the one that would sit by himself saying the keg is totally in the wrong place to best serve the party needs.. blah blah..

Deadpool is funny as fuck with tons of great one-liners and play on words. Anyone that doesn't like that movie is most likely in bed by 9 pm nightly haha.

I tried to enjoy it too, but couldn't.

I would have loved it when I was 14 but I've grown out of that cheap hyper-sexualized humor.

But it made a killing so I'm clearly in the minority.
