A (so called) newscaster has just been named in a legal battle that might take down a sitting president.

But they've all done nothing wrong and have nothing to fear right?

I caught that tonight... Very odd how one of their own "reporters" is in the news in the biggest legal case our country has ever had and they failed to mention it.

Hannity wasn't dragged in to this because of a casual conversation, there was paperwork, recordings or something sitting in Cohen's possession that had Hannity's name all over it that lead them to him.

True, but they did fire him once his stuff became public. Now that Hannity's Bias has become public, I suspect that they may fire him, especially if he loses advertisers like the other Fox News Anchor (I forgot her name..Laurie Engal? ugh..)


It doesn't matter what Hannity hired Cohen for. What matters is that Hannity never disclosed the fact during any of his rants, er, "reports".


I'd give Shep a pass on this. Fox News has to craft a response to this pretty carefully and it looks like the news was just breaking right at that second. Let's give him a day.

The right wing/fox news viewers are the willfully ignorant. We see this proven time and time again. They don't care about reality or facts.. just if their team wins.. These people are the biggest threat to democracy we've ever seen which is why Russia is playing them for the fools they are..

Democracy only works if the voters are reasonably intelligent and informed. The right wing and fox news viewers are neither and that's 30% of our voting pool.

dumb dumb ... Cohen is no real estate lawyer ... in fact , he doesn't really pratice law ... he is a fixer , i.e. Ray Donovan

I am in real estate ( you know my trailer park where you and your mother lives... btw, your rent is late! ) and I have a real estate lawyer, specialized : Fiset Legal

If I have other types of litigation, I use other lawyers ...

Sure buddy. Cohen felt legally obligated to name him as a client to a Federal Court because he just asked for advice one day.

He also hired a couple more of Chump's lawyers

Then why did Hannity demand that the lawyer keep his identity a secret? If all he asked him for was a bit of advice, keep it a secret? And why not disclose it when interviewing him?

I think you hit this one pretty close if not right on. Time will tell.

It's interesting that this guy seems to make a lot of money (to be able to pay off folks to protect those that are friends) but can also hide behind ACPriv's as well it suits the situation.

These are the guy's that do all the undocumented 'dirty deeds' that every rich underhanded person needs to know. They are effective and untraceable. At least, that is the intention.
But the only chance this will lead to him turning evidence to broader things is what they actually catch him on.
The search warrant is not a open door to evidence whatever they find. They had to go looking for something specific and can only use what they were looking for.
Investigations work on a evidence chain and there have to be connecting dots to it all or it is not admissible in court.

So you may know the end result, but you have to connect the dots in order to have a case.

So we shall see how loyal he is if he is truly facing 20-30 years (pretty much most of his remaining adult life.) But of course we know these slime balls get those final sentances reduced, especially when they have incriminating data on political figures. And I would suspect that to be true in this case from other folks he has done work for.

So there is probably a vested interest in politics to keep this from going to far.

But that would just be my opinion of it.
